![]() The map optimizing and puzzle feel has been drastically tanked from pre-patch and now instead of choosing what you see on the map you want to spend your steps on, it is now a situation where you have to deal with what tiles are around you and the previous method of playing the map is now heavily punished.īuffing the enemies with more hp, attack, and abilities in normal mode is also a step back in my opinion and feeds into my view of apex players wanting more of a challenge and as a result, the developers just raised the floor instead of handling things in apex. ![]() It starts like a fun puzzle in the early game both in fights and managing what tiles to go after, then snowballs into a fun stop at the end that still needed the fight to be managed for a few rounds. It was a game where I would manage my health and shield with a support while efficiently attacking the enemy with the offensive characters and mix-characters. I am not one of those people that cared or had an interest in apex.įor Arcanium, this was the game for me and what i liked about it: I feel that probably too many changes to the game were implemented at once instead of trying them in parts and taking in feedback from the community for the specific changes.Īdditionally, I feel that what feedback is being taken from the community is probably feedback from users who are max apex rank and complaining about a lack of challenge and decided to just move apex stats into normal mode. So this update has honestly soured my enjoyment of the game. ![]()
